As reliance on technology erodes the opportunities of face-to-face meetings in business, Western Candy Association offers a specialized conference in a relaxed setting to rekindle and forge new relationships while creating lasting memories. Our learning sessions focus on market trends and industry issues using real life experiences and inter-membership participation. The goal is to fortify candy manufacturing in the US through leveraging our collective strengths.

The Western Candy Conference provides a business experience with senior executives that delivers the opportunity to interact with key decision makers.
-
Western Candy Conference has been designed and built with 2 major functions in mind - the first is to educate and the second is to build networking opportunities.
-
One of the best resources we receive from the Western Candy Association is the exposure to California legislators and new rulings that will impact our customers and the future business landscape.
-
For over the last 90 years, Western Candy Conference has evolved to ensure educational opportunities by utilizing formal speakers, lectures, and Tabletops.
-
At Western Candy Conference, the networking opportunities abound every day with formal and informal gatherings.
-
Western Candy Association also supports active involvement in legislative and regulatory activities and has held meetings in the California state capital in Sacramento since the 1970’s. These activities are intended to help the public and our greater industry gather around significant issues that will impact consumers and our industry.
-
The connections I’ve made over the years at the conferences have proven to be invaluable resources in my work. Moreover, I have developed friendships that go far beyond business. It may sound cliché, but Western Candy really is a family. Each year at the conference is like a family reunion where you reconnect with familiar faces, meet the next generation, make new friends and, of course, new memories.
-
As a supplier to the confectionary industry the Western Candy Conference does an excellent job of providing opportunity to reach many customers at one event. The Supplier Tabletop exhibit provides customer facing interactions that are critical to business development.
-
The blending of candy manufacturers and the world of suppliers has allowed Western Candy Association to achieve its wonderful goals of education, relationship building and legislative awareness.
-
Western Candy Association provides its members the opportunity to participate in the confectionery industry in a way no other group can match. Utilizing both business and social activities, the annual conference gives attendees the chance to meet, spend time with, and get to know a select group of owners and key members of candy and chocolate manufacturing companies, as well the companies that supply the goods and services they rely on. Beyond the conference, WCA strives to keep its members connected with the issues that impact the confectionery industry specifically.
-
Continuing our 90 year tradition of forging business relationships between companies across the United States, Western Candy Association is focused to bring legislative, innovative trends and issues to the membership on a continuous basis. Its Board consists of business leaders coming from various market spaces with the bakery, confectionery and nutritional world, who bring different types of knowledge and insight to the board to bring forth unique conferences on an annual level.
-
The annual Western Candy Conference is unique in its format: usually tucked away in a golf resort, allowing members to rekindle and forge new relationships with business leaders from other segments in the candy, confectionery, bakery and nutritional world. The conference has a unique theme, where specific speakers and topics will enlighten and educate its members, enriched with various theme dinners and spectacular golf or other social events.
